When you are dealing with renting, there are a few key points that you will certainly want to take into consideration.  For one – when you own a home, you have home owner’s insurance.  That way, if a flood, a fire, a break in – anything happens, your stuff and the home itself is covered.  When you are renting, it can be tricky to do that.
